Blog posting...on a stick!
It's almost time for the MN State Fair. I haven't been in years, largely because I was working during the week and working Ren Fest on the weekends. I remember loving the state fair when I would go with friends in my teens, largely because it gave us a really large area in which to missbehave. I also love the food. No where can you get so much deep fried food on a stick! I have lived in a few other states, and have friends from all over the country, and from what I can tell, we in MN are pretty unique with how big our state fair is for us. I haven't quite decided yet if I'm going this year, but if I do, I will keep a record of everything on a stick that I encounter, and a log of how much I eat...promise.

haha, yay. I bet the boys would have fun if you can keep them from getting too hot.
I love the State Fair. I won't be spending much time there this year. I'm going to see the Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth on thursday, going to go to the fair straight from work, but I'll only get to enjoy it for a couple hours, since the concert is at 7:30. Just enough time to enjoy some fried food and maybe duck into the art bldg. I'd love to go a second time and spend the day, but I don't think I have the money to spare, 'specially since The Swell Guy and I are going to RenFest at some point.
Hubby and I are planning on hitting Ren Fest twice, at least, this year, once with the Immortal Pantheon, once without. Maybe we could hook up with you and The Swell Guy one of those times, like when the Pantheon is being babysat, and I can be an adult!
We probably won't go to the Fair this year. BTW, Hermes loves "Kidway" but it can be expensive, Camp Snoopy is acutally cheaper. If you do go make sure you visit the Fine Arts Bldg. and the Education Bldg. I am thinking about going to RenFest, probably with Auntie.
